As a Senior Advisor for SIR, Becky assists with strategic consulting and communications for a variety of projects and clients, providing support for SIR’s research, strategic planning, and communications initiatives. Whether she is connecting with clients, helping advance strategy, supporting communications, or using her creativity to analyze and develop visuals and graphic design, Becky relays content in meaningful, relevant, and engaging ways. Before joining SIR, Becky served as an educator for over ten years in both public and private schools in Virginia. She achieved her National Board Certification in December 2020, receiving recognition for her accomplishments as a talented and creative communicator.

Additionally, Becky brings a consulting background to SIR, with experience working on several campaigns and supporting communications through content creation, brand management, advertising, social media, and more. Prior to her role in education, Becky served as a Strategic Consultant, providing her the opportunity to cultivate her communication skills with a variety of clients. Throughout her career, Becky has connected with diverse audiences, crafting content with enthusiasm and passion.

Always looking for ways to support her neighborhood, she is an active community advocate and volunteer in Richmond with a particular heart for education. Becky also currently serves on the board of the UVA Club of Richmond, where she helps lead community service outreach and initiatives.
