If not us, who?
Near the end of their three-year strategic plan, Leading Age Virginia, the trade association for senior living providers, wanted to better understand how they could better serve both their members and older adults in the Commonwealth. SIR was engaged to conduct research among all stakeholder groups and lead a workgroup of members to develop new products and services.
Through one-on-one interviews and workshops, concepts were developed and then tested via online virtual community qualitative research. One winning concept is a job-matching service for workers 55+ and senior living operators. The other is a clearing-house to help develop and foster new product and service concepts to meet the needs of older adults in Virginia.
Both concepts are being developed further to be piloted in Virginia, and if successful, then offered through Leading Age nationally.
